LOT of vintage "Souvenir" or "Travel" Color * 84 Slides
featuring the country of Turkey  (12 each in 7 vinyl sleeve holders), circa 1970s/1980s~
** PLEASE NOTE: THERE APPEAR TO BE SOME DUPLICATES
- (some may be in black and white or sepia, it's difficult to tell, but majority are color slides). They are each housed in vinyl type 'sleeve' with openings for the slides.
NEEDS A SLIDE PROJECTOR OR VIEWING DEVICE TO VIEW THESE.
Celebrate many iconic images of the locations of the historic country of Turkey. Many are labeled to tell the viewer what the image is (Basilica of St. John, Le Palais De Topkapi, and the Blue Mosque, Fountain of the Virgin Mary, Ephesus, Agora (market-place), the St. Sophia Museum (Istanbul),  and several images of Covered Bazaar (Istanbul), some scenic views of the city from Istanbul,  are some mentioned). Many are artifacts within the locale, such as Le Palais De Topkapi (Topkapi Palace Museum).  Seem to be from Istanbul, Ephesus and Izmir.
THESE WERE SOLD AS SOUVENIRS IN SLEEVES- THERE ARE 12 IN EACH VINYL TYPE 'SLEEVE..'SOME HAVE NUMBERS, SOME DO NOT.
THESE PROBABLY DATE BACK TO THE late 1970s/ early 1980S BASED ON ESTIMATION OF OUR FAMILY MEMBER'S TRAVELS, WHEN PURCHASED.
Each slide is labeled "Kodak Film."  Please note due to their age, they may have deterioration, fading and wear from age.
These have NOT been tested as we do not have a slide projector.
Some of the plastic sleeves are labeled at top KENT.  Two are labeled "NET" and "KESKIN COLOR". The vinyl sleeves have wear from age/handling/storage and some age-related discoloration. The labels on the top are also coming off (dried out adhesive on backing).
These were purchased by our beloved family member who traveled to Turkey. These slides may have been viewed.
These would be great for a "slide show" presentation or school or informational project about Turkey.
