Vintage Lot-London/Great Britain Maps-travel guides-1970's.
This is a great vintage lot of 20 maps, travel guides, etc from London and Great Britain in the early 1970's!
The "100 Miles Around London" map is very large but in great condition. Someone did write 1971 on the cover, but otherwise, no marks or tears. There is also a Texaco brochure offering a driver for sightseeing! Also included are some London sightseeing brochures, as well as This Week in London. There are brochures for Canterbury, Queen's Garden, York, Knaresborough in Yorkshire, a ferry guide and more!
This lot also includes a "rules of the road" handbook...and apparently these travelers got a parking ticket! It's here along with their paid receipt!
A very interesting glimpse into travel in London and Great Britain in the early 70's...this would be a great lot for a travel memorabilia collector!
