VINTAGE HIKER'S BADGES WANDERSTOCK HIKING STICK with 19 METAL & ENAMEL STOCKNAGEL / MEDALLIONS
A stocknagel is to be mounted on a walking stick by someone with two nails to show the places that they have visited. These are called either pins, mounts, shields, stocknagel, medallions, placckette/scudetti or badges and do the same thing as lapel or hat pins, they tell everyone where you have been and what you have seen.

CONDITION
: This is in GOOD condition considering its age and years of enjoyment. There is a few surface cracks from age in the stick, and one of the nineteen medallions needs 1 nail because it is partially loose.
DIMENSIONS
: 35" TALL WITH A 1" ROUND DIAMETER THAT TAPERS AS IT GOES DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF 5/8" DIAMETER. IT HAS A 5 1/2" LONG CURVED TOP HANDLE AND A 3 1/8" METAL BOTTOM CAP.
