Carnival Glass Creamer, Checkerboard / Old Quilt Pattern, Westmoreland, Amethyst

Description

Up for sale is a beautiful and charming carnival glass creamer that bears the Westmoreland (WG) makers mark on the bottom, which our research shows was used after 1940.  (Please note that while this piece appears to be genuine based on the pattern, iridescence and makers mark, it has not been authenticated as genuine Westmoreland and we are not experts in carnival glass).  The piece is in excellent condition with no visible scratches or cracks and appears to have not been used.  This piece bears the Checkerboard pattern, also known as the Old Quilt pattern.  It is a gorgeous iridized amethyst color and the
iridescence
is fresh and clean looking.  The entire piece is iridized
except
for the bottom of the base.  This creamer is approximately 5-3/4 inches wide (includes the handle) and approximately 3-3/4 inches tall at the highest point.
This piece is being sold
as is
and the pictures speak for the condition so please review them closely and carefully.  The piece was remarkably clean when we acquired it and we have dry dusted it only.
This item was purchased from an estate sale. We do not know the
