Adjust the speed anywhere from 550 to 1600 strokes per minute with the simple turn of a knob. The cast iron base prevents vibration and walking during operation while the spacious 16 in. x 10 in. table bevels up to 45 for angled cut. The adjustable air pump clears saw dust from your work area to give you a clear line of vision as you cut.
This combined with the 1-1/2 in. dust port keep your work area clean so you can focus on your woodworking. The saw also includes a hold-down foot clamp for securing your project in place along with a flexible work light that bends and adjusts to whatever position your heart desires. This unique blade holder accepts both pinned and pinless blades while also allowing users to change the direction of their cut to accommodate their particular workpiece. for pinned blades, simply pop the pins out of the front holder and turn the blade .
Now, your cuts are no longer confined by the 16 in. throat of the scroll saw. On top of that, our removable pinless blade holder design tightly grips blades to prevent them from coming loose during operation. Onboard blade and holder storage creates simple organization solutions between jobs.

I just had the chance to use the WEN Scroll Saw and I'll say I was pleased. I'm new to scroll saws, so my rating might be of little value, but I found this saw easy to set up, easy to understand the basic usage and very functional. It does vibrate a bit more than I expected, which makes detail cutting difficult but when clamped to a bench it smooths out and cuts easily. I'm using the provided blade cutting through 3/4' pine and didn't experience any issues. Using PVC tubing, and a heat gun, I was able to rig up a dust collection system which kept the work area clear and the project visible. The only negative I experienced was with the air blower tube. It won't stay on the fitting. It never popped off while I was cutting but when I'd take a break and come back to the saw the tubing was off. I can't attest to the long term durability yet but for a DIY guy that has an occasional need for a scroll saw this fills that need.

I really liked that this saw has a lot of features that were mostly on more expensive units. Love the ability to use both pinned and unpinned blades. Saw works great and I?m able to do very intricate work with it.

I've had the WEN for about two weeks. I replaced a 30 year old (or older) Dremel scroll saw that I could not get working again. The saw was easy to set up and operate right out of the box. After a few adjustments as stated in the instructions, I was off and running! I am a hobby user and I was able to cut simple patterns out of a scrap piece of wood the first time. So far the scroll saw performs as expected and I trust I will have many happy years of fun and enjoyment.
